Greetings Life House Family,
We hope your thanksgiving was a time of remembrance for all God has done .We have so much to be thankful for when we see all that is going on in the earth. Let us join our hearts in prayer for Israel and the Ukraine. War is a horrible torment and we cry out for all the oppression the enemy has unleashed . We remind ourselves again of our dual citizenship. We take our place in the Kingdom and call on heavens resources and the Lord’s supply for all the challenges we face.
I am reminded of Isaiah 62:1,2, and am praying for all the needs represented .
It says “for Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings Your glory. You shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
We have often referred to Jerusalem as not only the capital city of Israel but also spiritually representing the main part of our life, the “capital city” of our heart. Our life with God and our home. So we stand for the peace of our “Jerusalem”. No matter what is going on around us we can be in His Peace . “
do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid “ John 14:27. This is His promise to us. Jesus is in intercession for us. I am reminded that Jesus said to Peter, that satan had asked to sift him as wheat but that Jesus had prayed for him that his faith would not fail, and said when you return to me strengthen your brethren .Luke 22;31 Aren’t we glad that when we struggle Jesus is praying for us. When we receive His encouragement we can strengthen each other. His heart is that we display His brightness. The truth that we stand in His righteousness because of the finished work of Calvary is such an incredible gift. It’s His work in us that can reflect His life in and through us.
We have been given a new name when we gave our life to Him. We are now accepted, given unconditional love, washed of past sins, redeemed, righteous, holy, chosen. Not only have we been given a new name but He has removed names that don’t belong to us any longer. Names like forsaken, abandoned, unloved, fearful ,to name a few. We stand against the lies of the enemy and receive the truth of all He has done for us.
Let's pray together...
Heavenly Father, we are so grateful for our salvation and the relationship we have with You. Thank you for Your love letter to us that gives us continual encouragement as we read it. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Thank you for illumination by Holy Spirit as we read it, giving us Your grace to know Your heart. We ask for all our life house family to be encouraged and uplifted by Your light and Life. Help us to keep our eyes on You in the midst of so many distractions. We ask for Your comfort for all who are experiencing loss. We also ask for those who are battling health concerns. May we see You as Jehovah Rapha in Your healing power. We continue to ask You to tear down any lies the enemy has planted. Uproot all schemes and plans that he wants to inflict. We demolish His intentions towards us and our families by the finished work of Calvary. Lord, would You come and build us and plant new understanding in our hearts for all You desire to do and may we cooperate with the work of Holy Spirit. We are so grateful for Your patience towards us. We believe and agree with Your plan for our lives. We receive Your Shalom Lord. Your fullness, Your rest, Your tranquility. We pray all this in Your precious Name, Lord Jesus.
Much Love, Cheryl
